Working from the detail of the painting below I have started a series of charcoal drawings exploring the lost horizons on the hills....you will be able to see this on show with a small selection of my recent work at the Bellwood & Wright Fine Art Gallery, Penny Street, Lancaster.

Apple Day, Arnside, October 3rd

I shall be running some hands on art activities at Arnside's Apple Day, organised by the AONB. Hopefully the weather will be as glorious as today when I took this photo there.

Prints, now available

I have produced a series of limited -edition giclee prints of a selection of my favourite paintings. Launched this weekend at the Silverdale and Arnside Art Trail, they have proved to be a popular alternative to the real thing. This image has actually been enhanced by the larger format and by saturating the colours!
I will be getting my website updated with details of these later this week.

Inner Space, Outer Limits

This is the name of a group exhibition at Kendal's Sugar Store Gallery in the Brewery Arts Centre. I am going to reproduce my illustrator experiments in watercolour and inks - here are two of the pieces I made using a really interesting illustrator button!
