These are my latest attempts to reproduce the blockiness of my smaller pieces on a larger scale, these painting are 60cm across. The top image is a cropped in version of the entire painting beneath it, I am not sure which I prefer at the moment...

I have spent this weekend designing a web site and stationary for a new greetings card company that myself and Diana Fegredo will be launching at Top Drawer next January. It is a vehicle for our own paintings, plus a chance to showcase the work of our talented friends and of course, significant others, Sean Phillips and Duncan Fegredo! Watch this space..........think bubble.........

This weekend sees me throwing open my front door for an Open House event as part of the local Art Trail. I shall be filling the walls with my paintings, as well as displaying collections of sketchbooks and drawings to give an insight into my working methods.
There will be a good variety of greetings cards for sale too, including my Christmas collection (well, if Fortnum and Mason's can have theirs out already!)
So come along to Milnthorpe - we are right in the centre behind the church (lookout for the banner and signs).
Cups of tea and biscuits will be available, with a glass of wine or two on the Friday evening preview!
....Oh and if there are any comic fans out there I am sure that Sean will be around eager for a chat!

Hello to anyone who bought a card from me over the weekend at the art trail and especially to those who are considering purchasing an original painting! My best photographic seller was taken in Morecambe behind the newly refurbished Midland Hotel. It is a little piece of visual history as it is soon to be knocked down and replaced with apartments. I shall also post up the other best sellers......

A big thank you to my little band of blog watchers! This is in response to all those who say I should add a little comment every now and then! I'm afraid I haven't spent much time in the studio lately as I have been designing the Art Trail Brochure for Green Door Studios.
This image is one of a small series I did in response to a piece of Kidney Iron Ore as part of a collaboration between Kendal Museum and the Green Door Studio artists.
