What a lovely day was had by all at Arnside's Apple Day organised by the AONB. We were very lucky to have a lovely warm and sunny day in which to enjoy all of the activities and displays on offer.
Following on from a series of art workshops I ran at six of the local primary schools we had a lovely display of orchard tissue paper pictures alongside pastel drawings of the fruit, flora and fauna to be found there throughout the seasons.
So a big thankyou to all of the children who so willingly made such a colourful contribution to this special event...
