Still got the Blues...and pink and gold

The latest in my series of Delphinium floral paintings has been created with a mixed media approach of using watercolours enhanced with gouache, inks and pastels.
I have just bought my first sweet peas so keep an eye out for these appearing in the next few paintings!

Inspired by spring flowers today I have been using yummy pastels. I am now avoiding making the dinner and helping with the homework by developing my work in photoshop!

Placing the Agapanthus

I have decided that this painting needs a single drawn stem to contrast all of the painterly daubs - a nice job for tomorrow in the studio...

Petal to Paint... Painting Memories

I am just getting ready to launch my new creative collaboration onto the world of weddings! Thanks to an inspired idea from my favourite florist Carmen we will be offering brides the chance to have their wedding bouquets 'preserved' as original art. With a choice of oils, acrylics or watercolours they will be able to commission us to create and capture in paint the most beautiful floral bouquets.
Do get in touch if you would like to know more...
